Our Dentist
John T. Sledge, D.D.S.
Dr. John T. Sledge was born and raised in a small town North of New Orleans. In 2002, he received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from The University of Mississippi. Dr. Sledge received his Dental Degree from Louisiana State University in 2007. During his time at LSU he was the President of the Delta Sigma Fraternity and was an active member of the American Student Dental Association.
In his 17 years of practice experience, Dr. Sledge has worked in both public and private practice. His most rewarding experience was working for Oral Health Partnership, helping the underserved children of Green Bay. He is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association and American Dental Association and a designated fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Sledge regularly attends Dental Continuing Education courses to expand his knowledge and improve his skills so that he can better serve his patients and the community.
Once Dr. Sledge heard Dentistry by Design's vision, he knew it would be a good fit. “There is nothing quite like the feeling of helping people and changing a patient’s perspective around dentistry. I find joy in bringing ease to a patient and knowing that we are going to get through this together, as a team” says Dr. Sledge. “It’s one of the best parts of my job.”
Dr. Sledge and his wife Cora spend their time together enjoying outdoor activities of any kind- mountain biking, hiking, golfing and exploring all the beauty Door County has to offer.
