Dental Hygienist
If you’re a seasoned dental hygienist or someone looking to start your career without much experience in the field, we’re willing to consider you if you’ll be a fun and positive addition! This is an amazing opportunity to move to Door County or get more involved in the community if you’re already in the area.
We are open Monday-Thursday, 8AM-5PM; we’re open to working with you on your desired schedule, full or part-time!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.
Assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical coding systems
(Eaglesoft).
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications:
Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Wisconsin.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care
Proficiency in using dental software systems.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules and maintain efficient workflow.
