Cora enjoys overseeing the daily operation to our family business to ensure our office is fully supported and given all the necessary tools to provide the best patient care possible. You can find her working behind the scenes handing a wide range of administrative tasks, treatment planning, coordinating marketing and advertising and working alongside Dr. Sledge in the clinic as a Dental Assistant. She has had extensive HIPAA and OSHA training and serves as our practice Privacy Officer.

Cora lives in Fish Creek with her husband, Dr. Sledge. She enjoys baking, cooking and mountain biking in Peninsula State Park!

Mary is a friendly face at the front desk. She has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She enjoys helping patients navigate through the business process in a friendly and professional manner and to see that all their dental needs are met.

In her free time, Mary enjoys remodeling her log cabin, summer days on the water, and spending precious time with her loved ones and her dog, Honey!

Gail joined the DBD team recently, but you may recognize her from her previous time in the office. She’s back at the front desk, checking patients in and out and scheduling appointments. With a background in retail management, customer service has always been a priority. For Gail, dentistry is no different—patient care is our customer service, and she is committed to providing the best care to our patients.

When not at work, this avid gardener can often be found providing TLC to her numerous flower gardens. She also enjoys hiking and exploring the county’s state parks and many land trust properties. She lives in Egg Harbor with her husband Tom and their yellow lab, Florence.

Heather has been a Dental Hygienist for over 15 years. She enjoys working with children and helping all her patients have a great dental experience. Heather is happy to be working with Dr. Sledge and the rest of the team at Dentistry by Design.

Heather lives in northern Door County with her husband, David, and three children. She enjoys the outdoors, running, and teaching fitness classes at the YMCA.

Gina is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Bachelor of Science program in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing as a licensed dental hygienist for the last 20 years in the Green Bay and Lakeshore areas. Gina enjoys meeting and talking with people. She takes pride in making the dental hygiene experience not only educational and thorough but fun.

Gina lives in rural Sturgeon Bay with her husband John and their three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and her animals, gardening, listening to music, hiking, and anytime outdoors in the sun.

Shelby was born in Neenah, Wisconsin, and lived in the Fox Valley area until 2017. She, along with her husband and two children, moved to Baileys Harbor to take over a family business. Shelby studied Dental Assisting at Fox Valley Technical School and graduated with honors in 2016.

Before dental assisting, she had 18 years of customer service experience. She loves seeing people smile and is excited to continue providing great customer service, but in a new way.
