A few fun facts about Dr. Grenfell:

What is your favorite food?   I like a wide variety of different foods and open to trying new ones.  However, I love sushi!
What do you like to do with your spare time? Spending time with my daughter.  It has been such a joy to see the world through her perspective.
What is your favorite TV show?   I don’t watch a lot of TV, especially in the summertime.  The TV is on the most during the Packer and Badger football season!
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why? Or, of the places you’ve traveled what was your favorite and why?   There are numerous places I would love to travel in the future.  I would love to travel to Europe, especially Italy or Greece.
If you could meet anyone from past or present who would it be and why?  There are so many fascinating people, but it would be interesting to meet Leonardo da Vinci.  He was an artist and scientist, among other things, and lived in such an interesting time period in history.
What is it about dentistry that you love?  I love working with patients to improve his or her confidence and smile.

Dr. Feit was born and raised near Wausau, Wisconsin.  In 1998, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming.  Dr. Feit received his Dental Degree from Creighton University Medical Center’s School of Dentistry in 2004.  While at Creighton, he was President of the Dental Student Union, awarded membership in the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, awarded Membership in the Pierre Fauchard Academy for outstanding academic achievements in dentistry, and awarded membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Feit practiced dentistry in Green Bay before he relocated to Sturgeon Bay.  In March of 2008, Dr. Feit assumed his current dental practice, Dentistry by Design in Sturgeon Bay, when Robert J. Schrank, DDS, retired.  Additionally, Dr. Feit added Dentistry by Design locations in Sister Bay in 2012, and Algoma in 2015.  In August 2018 he sold Dentistry by Design in Sister Bay to Dr. John Sledge.  He continues to provide care on a part-time basis in Sister Bay alongside Dr. Sledge.  Dentistry by Design emphasizes comprehensive and advanced dental care. To be able to provide this level of care, Dr. Feit has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education since graduating dental school.  He has studied TMJ/bite problems at the Pankey Institute, Dental Implants at the Misch International Implant Institute, as well as countless other topics. In June of 2013, he received Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The AGD Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Feit completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive exam, and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD.

Dr. Feit is a firm believer in giving back through dentistry.  While living in Green Bay, Dr. Feit participated as a member on the Board of Directors, as well as being a practitioner, for the Brown County Oral Health Partnership.  The Oral Health Partnership delivers free dental care to underserved children using mobile dental equipment in school settings.  Dr. Feit was also a member of the NEWAHEC Board of Directors.  This board was responsible for distributing grant money to fund programs encouraging minorities to choose careers in healthcare.  Dr. Feit has been active in advocating for patient care at the state level and was the recipient of the WDA Pyramid of Pride Award for Political Action following his run for the State Assembly in 2012.

Since moving to Sturgeon Bay, Dr. Feit provides dental care at Ministry Door County Medical Center’s ER and OR Departments on an as needed basis. Currently, Dr. Feit is on the Wisconsin Dental Association’s Practice Transitions Committee.  Dr. Feit is also a member of the American Dental Association,  Academy of General Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Brown-Door- Kewaunee Dental Society.

A few fun facts about Dr. Feit:

What is your favorite food? –  Enchiladas with green sauce.  I ask for the special sauce they hide in the back because it is too hot for the average American.  When I break a slight sweat while eating the enchiladas I know they are “just right”!
What do you like to do with your spare time? –  Anything outdoors.  My top choices are pheasant hunting and farming.
What is your favorite TV show? –  I actually go weeks at a time without watching any TV.  The exception of course, is during Packer season.  Go Pack!
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why? Or, of the places you’ve traveled what was your favorite and why? –  The time I spent in Wyoming at school with my Wife is as unforgettable as any.  Wyoming has our hearts.
If you could meet anyone from past or present who would it be and why? – Einstein for sure.  I would like to ask him what on earth happened to his hair!
What is it about dentistry that you love? –  Every day I meet new people and conquer new challenges.  It is never the same day twice.

What is your favorite food? – Pizza, as much as I don’t want to admit that! I’m a sucker for Wild Tomato.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why? Or, of the places you’ve traveled what was your favorite and why? –  I love traveling and experiencing new things. One of my all time favorite trips was our family reunion in Scotland. It was a once in a life time trip staying in a castle with 90 members of our family. That one will be hard for me to beat.
If you could meet anyone from past or present who would it be and why? – To be totally honest, it would be between The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) and Michael Strahan because they just seem like fun, successful people with positive attitudes who I’d like to be friends with.
What is it about dentistry that you love? – My favorite thing is when a nervous patient has a great experience. I love seeing them more confident and telling me it was much easier than they expected.
