Winner of the 2012 Patient Referral Program
12/18/2012 – Congratulations to Kendall Banks winner of the 2012 Dentistry by Design patient referral program! He was very excited to receive a $500 gift card. At the time of this picture he had yet to decide what he was going to spend it on. But with Christmas just around the corner we speculate it will go fast.
We know a referral is the biggest compliment a patient can give us and we want our patients to know how much we appreciate them and any referrals sent our way.
New Sister Bay Office Coming Soon
12/05/2012 – The plans for our new location in Sister Bay are coming along nicely. We are very excited about the new building and are looking forward to welcoming patients to this state-of-the-art facility sometime in the new year. Here are a few sneak peek images of the construction.
Mission of Mercy
7/29/2012 – The staff from Dentistry by Design team up with other dental professionals from the area to volunteer at this years Mission of Mercy in Madison. This is the second year that DBD staff have volunteered for the free dental care event.
Door County Charities Golf Classic
6/18/2012 – Dentistry by Design sponsored a hole and a Hole-In-One contest at this year’s Door County Charities Golf Classic that benefited the MDCMC Dental Clinic.

DBD at the YMCA’s Healthy Kid’s Day 2012
4/28/2012 – Dentistry by Design staff had a blast at the YMCA Healthy Kid’s Day. Kid’s had fun playing with Dr. Drill n’ Fill PlayDoh. They received lots of dental goodies and one lucky family won a $100 YMCA Gift Certificate at our booth.
Dental Assistant, Georgene Mann, visits Tree House Learning Center
03/2012 – Georgene recently gave a presentation to the pre-school students at the Tree House Learning Center. Students were eager to learn the proper way to brush and floss.
Dentistry by Design Joins The Big Dawg Christmas
12/17/11 – Dentistry by Design together with Dental Health Products helped bring smiles to Door County families in need this Christmas by joining 97.7 The Big Dawg and the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department and Police Department for the Big Dawg Christmas! DBD donated toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss to the families in need and was a drop-off location for community donations.

Dentistry by Design Staff Alerts Patient of Heart Problem
10/29/11 – DBD patient writes letter to the editor titled “Dentist Saved My Life”. During appointment, Dentistry by Design staff found signs of patients unknown heart issue.

Dr. Paul Feit meets with Senator Frank Lasee
7/11/2011 – Dr. Paul Feit, Senator Frank Lasee, and Mary Ann Zjala (Ministry Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic) met at the MDCMC Dental Clinic to discuss ways of increasing the availability of dental care for low income families in Wisconsin.

Dentistry by Design Staff Volunteers for the WDA’s Mission of Mercy Event
6/24/2011 – Over 1,000 volunteers took part in the third-annual Mission of Mercy event. This event provided over $1 million dollars in free dental care to approximately 2,000 individuals that are either uninsured, underinsured, or for some reason are unable to visit a dentist. Those in attendance had access to cleanings, fillings, extractions and limited treatment partials on an first-come, first-serve basis.

Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) Dental Academy
1/19/2011 – Newly elected Legislators learned more about the dental needs of their constituents with the help of Dr. Feit, who was a guest presenter at the first WDA Dental Academy. Dr. Feit discussed his concern over the lack of access to dental care for low income families on Medicaid due to limited government funding. To read the full article click here.
