Sheri started her career in dentistry at Algoma Gentle Dental Care, now Dentistry by Design. Prior to joining the field of dentistry she worked in Customer Service/Sales for 17 years and management for 15. One of the things she really loves about her position at Dentistry by Design is meeting new people and greeting familiar faces. It is also such a joy to see how happy patients are with their smile after having dental care.
Sheri grew up in Door County and currently live in Sturgeon Bay. She and her husband Lou have two grown daughters. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Crick. Sheri and Lou are also enjoying being grandparents and love spending time with their grandchildren.
Lisa came to Dentistry by Design with 21 years experience in dental assisting. She is a 1994 graduate of NWTC. Lisa was attracted to dentistry for the opportunity to truly help people and create beautiful, healthy smiles. She has taken on a new role as the Scheduling Coordinator in the Algoma office.
Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, also being outdoors gardening, camping and snowmobiling.
Joanne obtained her Degree in Dental Hygiene from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN, and brings over 30 years of hygiene experience to Dentistry by Design.
Her past experience includes dental practices in Minnesota, Illinois and California. Her objectives remains the same: to provide patients with a thorough cleaning, to make them feel comfortable, and for them to look forward to coming back for their next visit.
Joanne recently relocated to Sturgeon Bay from California with her husband Greg, and they have two adult daughters. She enjoys the comfort of small town living with water views, and being close to her immediate family. Joanne is active physically, and enjoys walking, swimming, biking and more.
Gina is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Bachelor of Science program in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing as a licensed dental hygienist for the last 13 years in the Green Bay and Lakeshore areas. Gina enjoys meeting and talking with people. She takes pride in making the dental hygiene experience, not only educational and thorough, but fun. Gina also works at Dentistry by Design’s Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay locations.
Gina lives in rural Sturgeon Bay with her husband John and their three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, her animals, gardening, listening to music, hiking and anytime spent outdoors in the sun.
Kelly graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in Door County and currently resides in Sister Bay. Kelly is very excited to be a part of the Dentistry by Design family. What Kelly loves most about Dental Hygiene is meeting new people, making them feel comfortable during their appointments and helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral and overall health.
During her off time she loves being outside, hunting, being with family, friends and her dog.
Eileen graduated from NWTC and acquired her Dental Assisting National Board of Certification in 1977. Prior to joining the Dentistry by Design family, Eileen’s last position spanned 38 years with Dr. Tom DeNamur at the Algoma location. She feels extremely fortunate to continue working in a field she feels very passionate about and looks forward to continually learning new skills, and providing excellent dental care. She remains committed to helping patients overcome obstacles like fear of dentistry, by earning their trust through gentle, compassionate care.
Eileen lives countryside with her husband Scot who keeps her life fun, educational and always interesting. Both are nature enthusiast; enjoying fishing, hunting, gardening, hiking. They also enjoy history and traveling to historical places, especially out west, and campfires with friends and family.
McKenzie was born and raised in Algoma, Wisconsin. She graduated from the Dental Assistant program at NWTC. One of her favorite parts about this profession is watching the patients leave with a huge smile on their face.
When McKenzie isn’t in the office you will find her taking care of her mini “zoo”, she has four dogs, a horse, a donkey and a cat. Besides taking care of the animals she also enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her husband and family.
