Katie was born in Wisconsin and raised between Green Bay, WI and Cincinnati, OH. She continued her education in Green Bay and graduated from NWTC as a dental assistant. She brings great knowledge and passion to the DBD team. Katie enjoys educating patients and the youth on the importance of dental health.
Katie enjoys traveling, and is a big believer on having a work/life balance. If she’s not hanging out with her family/friends, you may find her biking, boating, nannying or anything outdoorsy.
Lisa came to Dentistry by Design with 21 years experience in dental assisting. She is a 1994 graduate of NWTC. Lisa was attracted to dentistry for the opportunity to truly help people and create beautiful, healthy smiles. She has taken on a new role as the Treatment Coordinator in the Algoma office.
Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, also being outdoors gardening, camping and snowmobiling.
Trisha was born and raised in Kewaunee County. She transitioned into the dental field after helping her husband Steve run their 200 acre farm for over 30 years. Trisha enjoys meeting and helping all the patients that come through the doors at the Algoma office.
Trisha and her husband have one daughter and one granddaughter, whom they spend a lot of time with. She also enjoys gardening, spending time with family and traveling.
Shannon – Dental Hygienist
Shannon was born and raised in Door County. She graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in the dental field as both a dental hygienist and an office manager. Having the experience in both positions has helped her have a better understanding of patient care from all levels. She loves getting to know her patients while helping them with their oral health needs.
In her free time Shannon likes to be in Door County by her family, enjoying the beautiful summer months at the beach, kayaking and fishing.
Gina is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Bachelor of Science program in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing as a licensed dental hygienist for the last 13 years in the Green Bay and Lakeshore areas. Gina enjoys meeting and talking with people. She takes pride in making the dental hygiene experience, not only educational and thorough, but fun. Gina also works at Dentistry by Design’s Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay locations.
Gina lives in rural Sturgeon Bay with her husband John and their three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, her animals, gardening, listening to music, hiking and anytime spent outdoors in the sun.
Kelly graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in Door County and currently resides in Sister Bay. Kelly is very excited to be a part of the Dentistry by Design family. What Kelly loves most about Dental Hygiene is meeting new people, making them feel comfortable during their appointments and helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral and overall health.
During her off time she loves being outside, hunting, being with family, friends and her dog.
Eileen graduated from NWTC and acquired her Dental Assisting National Board of Certification in 1977. Prior to joining the Dentistry by Design family, Eileen’s last position spanned 38 years with Dr. Tom DeNamur at the Algoma location. She feels extremely fortunate to continue working in a field she feels very passionate about and looks forward to continually learning new skills, and providing excellent dental care. She remains committed to helping patients overcome obstacles like fear of dentistry, by earning their trust through gentle, compassionate care.
Eileen lives countryside with her husband Scot who keeps her life fun, educational and always interesting. Both are nature enthusiast; enjoying fishing, hunting, gardening, hiking. They also enjoy history and traveling to historical places, especially out west, and campfires with friends and family.
McKenzie was born and raised in Algoma, Wisconsin. She graduated from the Dental Assistant program at NWTC. One of her favorite parts about this profession is watching the patients leave with a huge smile on their face.
When McKenzie isn’t in the office you will find her taking care of her mini “zoo”, she has four dogs, a horse, a donkey and a cat. Besides taking care of the animals she also enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her husband and family.
